Platter was made with red clay fired at mid-range, cone 6 oxidation, in an electric kiln. The platter was made with a slab of clay and shaped using a form. It has an underglaze design that is transferred onto the piece from newspaper, with imprinted texture and designs. The platter has holes in the back for hanging if desired.
