Cup

Handmade cup made with red clay fired at mid-range, cone 6 oxidation, in an electric kiln. The piece was hand thrown on the pottery wheel, with an attached textured slab bottom, and thrown foot. The piece has a hand painted underglaze design that is transferred onto the piece from newspaper. The interior is lined with a clear glossy glaze.

The cup is 4" tall and 3 1/4" wide at the top, and holds 12 oz. 

The piece food, microwave, dishwasher safe, and oven safe.
